We have been waiting since June, but the wait is over

After months of waiting, it is time to start the Drive to a District Championship. Monday, March 11th, at 4 PM, Tryouts officially begin around the State of Michigan, and Dearborn High is joining the fun.

Last season we made great strides towards where we want to go as a program, and we want to pick up right where we left off. We are luck enough to have nine players coming back from last year’s Varsity team, at the experience is going to play a role in our development. There will be new girls joining the Varsity from JV, Middle School, other High Schools and even Japan, and it will make us all stronger. The girls are pushing to ensure there are enough players to continue having a JV team, they know how important that is for the future of the program, and the Legacy that they want to leave on the program, because this is just the beginning for Dearborn High.

The Coaches are ready, and have been constantly communicating about what we can do to improve, but now is the time to implement all of those plans. The biggest thing we ask is that all of the girls remember the two most important pieces of equipment an athlete has, their attitude and effort. Let’s do this!
